  2. ORIGINAL FINANCIAL EDUCATION:
SOME INVESTMENT OPTIONS AND HOW TO MAKE AND SAVE MONEY

    1. Employment income (from our work or job): the basic source of our income.
    2. Business and investment income: our other sources of income.
    3. Tax refund (annually): we should always try to get a big tax refund from our income tax return during the tax season. Maximize our tax refunds.
    4. Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP): a Canadian government service. Contribution amount will be deducted from our annual income. Contribution benefit and withdrawal tax are almost the same, depending on the tax bracket. For example, if you contribute, $1,000 or P40,000, you will have a tax refund of 35% or $350 or P14,000 during the tax season. Unfortunately, you will pay a tax of less than 30% or $300 or P12,000 if you withdraw your contributions before you are 65 years old, depending on the tax bracket.
    5. Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP): a Canadian government service. For a child’s university or college education savings plan. Usually, a grant of 20% for every dollar of contribution. For example, with a $100 or P4,000 of contribution, a grant of $20 or P800 or 20% will be given to the beneficiary’s plan. However, if any part of RESP contributions is withdrawn for whatever reason, the specific grant will be returned to the government.
    6. Real estate and mortgage or house refinance (Canada): we can borrow up to 80% from our house equity or net value. For example, if the equity or net value of your house is $400,000 or P16 million, you can borrow $320,000 or P12.8 million from your house equity. You can borrow from your house equity with unlimited times, as long as there’s a house equity.
Real estate or our house is one of our best investments. Just like any stock, a good rule is to sell our house when the price of our house is very high to make more money. The best time to buy a house is when the price of a house is very low to save more money. We make lots of money during house downsizing.
    7. Tax-Free Savings Account (TFSA): it’s a tax-free savings bank account (Canada).
    8. Donations to registered Canadian charities: You will refund about fifty percent (50%) of your donations if you donate to Canadian charities only. For example, if you donate $1,000 or P40,000 in one year, you’ll refund $500 or P20,000 during the tax season.
    9. Canada Child Benefit (CCB): a government service. Receiving first monthly child benefit depending on a household income. Receiving second monthly benefit until a child is eighteen years old.
    10. Life insurance: beneficiary receives a benefit upon death of the insured.
    11. Canada Pension Plan: a government pension.
    12. Company pension plan: a private pension.
    13. Investments thru private banks and businesses
    14. Lottery: consider it as a raffle and not a gambling. Good self-control is required. The best way to be an instant millionaire if you have a good luck.
    15. Dental insurance: private service. Saves you money.
    16. Medical insurance: government service. Saves you money.
    17. Reading and analyzing excellent and very reliable books and resources about financial education and analysis.
    18. Financial education is one of the most important forms of education.
    19. Financial freedom must be achieved and enjoyed by all the people worldwide.

Thank you very much for your time.

    Think freely,
